yeah, yeah, yeah.
i shoot with a D1H for the paper. it sucks big time. nikon sent d3s for "us" to check them out for a month or so. obviously, there wasn't any for the intern... but i saw (and heard) how happy the others were with everything in that camera.
That's the same priest of your fundamentals story, isn't him?
